同學們, surprised 和surprising 都表示驚訝的意思,但什麼時候用surprised?什麼時候用surprising呢?
來看看這兩個例句:
We are all surprised by the news.(= We feel surprised) 我們對這新聞感到很驚訝。
The news is surprising.(=The news makes us feel surprised.) 這新聞真令人驚訝。
發現哪裡不一樣了嗎?用來形容人的感覺時,要用ed;形容事情或東西時則要用ing哦。

It could be jolly Christmas carols, colorful fairy lights hanging all around, presents under the Christmas tree or even beautiful white snow. The traditional imagery of Christmas is a little different in South Africa because unlike most countries, Christmas in South Africa is not cold and snowy but really warm and sunny.
